Training

Careers are fluid and unique. As a technical contractor working in the mining and resources sector, training is fundamental to both our operational, safety and talent development strategies.

We believe the power of the individual to extract fulfilment and satisfaction is equal to the ambition of an employer to provide access to it. Upskilling and obtaining qualifications helps our team reach for and achieve their potential.

Roc-Drill’s training and continuous professional development programmes are jointly managed by our HR and HSEQ teams. Our in-house trainer and assessor personnel provide ongoing support and mentoring on the job, while our resource sector RTO partners provide self-managed online learning platforms for RPL and certification of key competencies, allowing our people to take charge of their own professional development. Our compliance and verification of competency initiatives are standardised across our business.

Roc-Drill’s commitment to provide training from entry to exit allows us to fulfil our commercial responsibilities while providing development opportunities to our team.
