Founded in 2012, Roc-Drill has grown to become a national force in blast hole drilling.
Nigel DeVeth, Roc-Drill’s Founder, launched the business as an off-shoot of DeVeth Drilling Queensland. From these humble origins in the Sunshine state, Roc-Drill quickly established a burgeoning market reputation for effective project fulfilment in the delivery of blast hole and grade control drilling.
In 2018 the company embarked upon a strategic growth programme, seeking to expand from its operating origins in Queensland into a diversified national provider. Since then, we have grown from a team of fifty to two hundred and fifty. Two projects to beyond ten. Ten drills to over fifty, with further rigs scheduled to join the fleet in the near future.
In 2021 a majority holding in Roc-Drill was acquired by Norcliffe Mining Services.
