About you:
You are you a seasoned payroll professional seeking a new challenge. As our Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a pivotal role in processing the fortnightly payroll, resolving payroll-related issues, and providing expert advice to our expanding workforce.
You will also partner with the Leadership team to identify and drive process improvement through management of change to achieve best practice payroll controls, transparency, and processes.
Your responsibilities will encompass the day-to-day administration payroll including superannuation, taxation, and end-of-month/year processes, as well as maintaining meticulous employee records and assisting with award interpretation and employment contracts.

To be considered applicants must have:
- Minimum five years’ experience as a Payroll Officer, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex payroll functions
- Experience in full end-to-end payroll
- High level of experience dealing with differing awards, contracts, shift patterns and hours.
- Review timesheets, work charts, wage computations, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Contribute and assist in the implementation of new systems and processes (e.g. new roster system)
- Process super, salary sacrifice, salary packaging and Child support payments.
- Preparation of payroll tax and workover returns.
- Maintain payroll reconciliations and detailed records for auditing.
- Experience in championing system implementations/upgrades
- Experience with dealing with Management with change.
- Proficient problem-solving skills coupled with influential capabilities.
